Dan is a 2009 graduate of Columbia University School of Law, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. As a law student, he helped represent low-income immigrants in asylum and tax matters. He also developed a policy paper on plea bargaining for The Defender Association of Seattle. Dan spent his law school summers at the Vermont Attorney General’s Office and with the law firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. He graduated from Harvard College in 2006 with a B.A. in Russian Studies.
